Courtney Laforest

Courtney joined the Mushkegowuk Health team after a career working in politics with the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.  Courtney has dedicated her career to advocating for Northern Ontario and its residents.

Courtney holds an Honours B.A. in Communication Studies, with a minor in Psychology, from Carleton University. Additionally, she obtained a Certificate in Content Marketing from York University.

Born and raised in the city of Timmins, Courtney has deep roots in the Northern Ontario community. You'll find her paddle boarding, golfing, enjoying a yoga class, supporting the Toronto Blue Jays, or exploring new destinations through travel.
