About the event
Gertie Linklater, our Mental Health and Addictions Worker, and Arlene Faries, Traditional Counsellor, will be hosting a Grief Edu Therapy for Mushkegowuk individuals residing in Cochrane or Taykwa Tagmou Nation.
This condensed 3 day program is a powerful took to deal with grief. Participation in this program will address the pain caused by the losses you have experienced in your life and enhance your ability to live life.
Grief is a normal human response to loss. Grief homes in many forms - death of a loved one, conflict in relationships, all forms of abuse, divorce/separation, etc.
Sessions will run from 9am to 5pm daily on Friday, October 27, Saturday, October 28 and Sunday, October 29 at the Apitisawin in Cochrane (Room 9, 207-6th Street).
