WEEK 4: November 22 - 28

Prostate cancer: Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in Canadian men. In its early stages it often has no symptoms, so talk to your health provider about screening starting around age 50, or earlier if it runs in your family. See your provider if you notice changes when you pee, like trouble starting, a weak flow, or needing to go often at night.

Photo challenge: Talk to an Elder and share a piece of wisdom or knowledge that they shared with you. Don't forget to use the hashtag #MushkegowukMovember and tag us @MushHealth on Facebook or Instagram (image must be set to public)

Why it matters: Elders carry generations of knowledge about living well, staying strong and caring for one another. Taking time to listen to their teachings keeps our culture alive and reminds us that looking after our health is something we pass on to the next generation.
